У Національному музеї-заповіднику українського гончарства в Опішному, у музеях-садибах доброю традицією стало проведення екскурсій в українських строях початку ХХ століття.

У Національному музеї-заповіднику українського гончарства в Опішному, а також у всіх музеях-садибах постійно діють виставки-продажі сувенірів із глини. Поряд можна придбати керамологічну й народознавчу літературу, альбоми-каталоги виставок, листівки, відеофільми, які необхідні етнографам, мистецтвознавцям, історикам, студентам художніх вузів і людям, які не байдужі до мистецтва. Більша ж частина відвідувачів Музею купують кераміку в кіоску Музею, на виставках-продажах у музеях-садибах, мистецьких галереях. Тут представлена продукція на різні смаки й естетичні уподобання, кращі роботи опішненських майстрів, відсутня кітчева кераміка.
