Упродовж 14 червня – 3 липня 2011 року в Національному музеї-заповіднику українського гончарства в Опішному діяла «Е-літня Академія ГОНЧАРства для харизматиків, романтиків, диваків і діячів», покликана дати учасникам основні навички роботи з глиною й уявлення про традиції українського гончарства.
20 червня 2011 року учасники «Е-літньої Академії ГОНЧАРства» завітали в Меморіальний музей-садибу гончарської родини Пошивайлів, де ознаймилися з життєвим і творчим шляхом представників цієї династії – Явдохи та Гаврила Пошивайлів, їхнього сина Миколи, внука Юрка. Саме на прикладі цього роду можна відстежити шлях розвитку, збереження й примноження традицій гончаротворення упродовж кількох століть.
Своїми враженнями поділилася учасниця «Е-літньої Академії ГОНЧАРства» Любов Коваленко (Дніпропетровськ): «В Опішному я вперше. Дуже здивована Музеєм гончарства. Вражена, наскільки тут люди живуть цим. Зуміли зберегти цікаві експонати, і не тільки керамічні, а й народного живопису. Мені як художнику дуже цікаво. Тут відчувається дух того часу. Інтер’єр садиби колоритний і душевний. Вразило те, що весь рід – сім’я, займалися однією справою. Це було правильно і важливо. Мабуть, тому і донеслися донині унікальні експонати, створені протягом довгих років творчості. Мені також хотілося б, щоб так було і в моїй родині – займатися однією справою».
