«Я намагаюся своїх дітей навернути до українства. Були в Закарпатті, в Петриківці, подорожували багато, на це грошей не жалкуємо. До Опішні збиралися приїхати саме на Фестиваль гончарства, але захворіла наша найменшенька, тому відклали поїздку. Та сьогодні наша мрія здійснилася – ми в Опішні. Скільки тут побачили, скільки довідались нового! Садиба старих майстрів Пошивайлів – це дух українського народу. Шана і уклін. Обов’язково приїдемо наступного року»(Пилипенко Леонід, Харків).
«Гостюючи в бабусі в Новосанжарському районі (Полтавщина), я побачив старовинні горшки. Запитав, як потрапили сюди. Вона розповіла, що вони з Опішні. Через Інтернет поцікавився, що можна тут (в Опішні) побачити. Приїхав з друзями, і не жалкую: є на що подивитись, і дуже багато дають інформації. В нас (Республіка Білорусь) також існували гончарні осередки, але на сьогодні майже нічого не відомо. Старих майстрів немає, у музеях експонатів мало. Добре, що тут можна побачити. Так багато збережено. Це вразило мене. Я працюю з глиною два роки, вмію виготовляти посуд. Мене дуже цікавлять форми, розміри. А ще роблю окарини. Це музичні інструменти, які виготовляли в Італії ще у Vстолітті. Форма моїх окарин класична, дещо схожа на тулуби пташок. Їх зручно тримати, і можна грати мелодію. Це складно, і цьому я зараз навчаюсь»(Роман Хусметдинов, Республіка Білорусь).
Коли зустрічаєш ось таких молодих небайдужих творчих людей, з’являється впевненість і віра у відродженні ГОНЧАРСТВА, і не тільки в Україні.
