«Намалюю цю квітку, і наче більше нічого немає, а воно десь береться в голові і лягає на вази, на тарелі, як зорі…» – так говорила про мальовку гончарних виробів відома малювальниця Явдоха Пошивайло.
Саме під таким гаслом в Меморіальному музеї-садибі гончарської родини Пошивайлів пройшов майстер-клас для учасників Міжнародної Е-літньої академії гончарства для харизматиків, романтиків, диваків і діячів, яка вже вдев’яте відбувалася в Опішному.
Майстер-клас провела Ірина Мирко, малювальниця, заслужений майстер народної творчості України. Вона розповіла академістам про традиційні орнаменти опішненської гончарної мальовки: стилізовані квіти, листя, виноград, риб, птахів, фляндрівку, показала, як краще заповнювати тло виробу. На власноруч виготовлених мисках кожен з учасників майстер-класу створив свій «по-опішненськи фантастичний» малюнок, отримавши насолоду й незабутні враження.
