Серед шанувальників творчості гончарного дуету Гаврила та Явдохи Пошивайлів багато цікавих, творчих особистостей, які також присвятили своє життя українському мистецтву.
Нещодавно в Меморіальний музей-садибу гончарської родини Пошивайлів завітала килимарниця Валентина Колінько (Решетилівка, Полтавщина) зі своєю знайомою Лідією Кугіль (Чернівці). Усе своє життя пані Валентина присвятила улюбленій справі – килимарству. Майстерності навчалася в Марії Михайло та Надії Бабенко (Решетилівка, Полтавщина). Нині Валентина Колінько заслужений майстер народної творчості України, член Національної спілки майстрів народного мистецтва України.
Багато років Валентина Колінько працювала з Олексою Долею, українським ученим-етнографом, заслуженим працівником культури України. З ним їздила в мистецькі осередки України, пропагуючи народне мистецтво. Неодноразово була в Опішному, знайома з родиною Пошивайлів та їхньою творчістю. Нині майстриня активно популяризує решетилівське килимарство, проводить майстер-класи в телепередачі «Культ предків» з Наталею Фіцеч. Нещодавно з цією місією відвідала Іспанію. А ще жінка мріє створити в селі Огирівка Великобагачанського району Полтавської області свій маленький музей килимарства.
У колекції Музею-садиби Лідію Кугіль зацікавила вишивка, адже для себе, своїх рідних, знайомих і друзів вишиває в подарунок одяг.
Пані Лідія оптиміст, щиро вірить у відродження української культури й духовності, про це свідчить її запис у «Книзі відгуків»: «Щиро вдячна за цікаву розповідь про родину гончарів Пошивайлів. Бережімо Україну, культуру, ремесла, а також український народ. Ми переможемо. Слава Україні! Опішнянським гончарям слава! Дякую!».
