Швидко, «шалено» летять роки, і чим дорослішими ми стаємо, тим частіше линемо думками у своє дитинство: безтурботне й радісне, зігріте любов’ю близьких і рідних тобі людей.
В останній день серпня з далекої Австралії до Меморіального музею-садиби гончарської родини Пошивайлів разом з родиною завітала онука Явдохи та Гаврила Пошивайлів, Наталя Пошивайло-Таулер. Чоловік Поль, діти Софійка та Михайлик тут не вперше, та їхній зацікавленості немає меж – до всього хочеться доторкнутися. Були здивовані, побачивши в колекції фото своєї мами. Наталя говорить, що саме бабуся водила всіх онуків родини в фотоательє і зберегла їхні дитячі фотографії. У пані Наталі блищать сльози на очах, з теплотою і ніжністю вона згадує дідуся й бабусю. Для неї це не просто Музей – це хата, де минуло її дитинство, і це навіює найкращі спогади: «…Пам’ятаю, як ми ходили на Швейцарію (народна назва одного з кутків Опішного – Я. М., Г. Н.), милувалися чарівними краєвидами, і бабуся розповідала багато цікавого. На завершення літніх канікул вона влаштовувала свято печеної картоплі, запрошуючи всіх сусідських школярів. Ось фото 1983 року. Тоді з бабусею і дідусем я вперше побувала у великому місті (в Києві, у Музеї народної архітектури та побуту України в Пирогово. – Я. М., Г. Н.). Цілий день була в музеї. Для мене це було щось важливе, піднесене, цікаве. Вперше побачила метро…».
На найвіддаленіший материк земної кулі Наталя в подарунок друзям повезе опішненські сувеніри, а нам на згадку про зустріч залишила маленьку іграшку – кумедне кенгурятко – символ Австралії, щоб через рік повернутися в рідне серцю Опішне – тут її коріння!
