Різдвяно-новорічні свята, неперевершені своєю красою, добром і любов’ю, живі й нині в обрядах, звичаях і традиціях українців. Вони сприяють зближенню й згуртуванню всіх членів родини, дають можливість відпочити в колі сім’ї.
Здавна існує повір’я: якщо в ніч перед Різдвом загадати заповітне бажання, воно обов’язково збудеться, хоча, можливо, й не відразу. Донечки з родини Панасенків (Полтава) – Женя й Катя – мріяли побувати в Опішному, аби побачити музеї. Їхню мрію під час новорічних канікул здійснили тато Владислав і мама Тетяна.
«Уперше я побувала в Опішному 10 років тому – привозили дітей зі студії «Гончарик». Поступово захопилася глиною, опанувала гончарний круг, наразі маю власну студію, працюю з дітьми. У мене як кераміста найбільші враження від великої кількості яскравих робіт майстрів», – розповіла пані Тетяна в Меморіальному музеї-садибі гончарської родини Пошивайлів.
