Травневий дощ не став перешкодою для учнів ЗОШ № 4 імені Остапа Вишні (м. Охтирка, Сумщина), щоб здійснити довгоочікувану мрію – познайомитися з Опішнею, гончарною столицею України, краєм, відомим славними гончарями та квітучими садами.
Легкою для сприйняття, пізнавальною для юних екскурсантів стала розповідь про гончарську династію родини Пошивайлів, що дала можливість поринути в глибину століть та відчути нерозривний зв’язок поколінь. Школярі були подивовані «монеткою», глиняними баринями, козаками, гумористичними композиціями, що становили сюжет українського ярмарку. Та особливу увагу відвідувачів привернули «горщик-вулик», колиска, гончарний круг майстра. Цікавою для дітей була і вікторина, проведена разом з учителем Іриною Пілютіною. Нам хотілося показати, що кожен експонат має неймовірну історію, до якої треба прислухатися і придивитися. Справжньою радістю для дітлахів стали придбані сувеніри – авторські роботи опішненських гончарів.
