У день ювілею опішненського глинотворця Миколи Гавриловича Пошивайла, 27 травня 2015 року, «Будинок Кричевського-Лебіщака» радо приймав шанованих гостей. Привітати майстра прибули голова Полтавської обласної ради Петро Ворона, начальник Управління культури Полтавської обласної державної адміністрації Геннадій Фасій, представники мистецької, музейної, педагогічної спільноти Полтавщини, журналісти, колеги, односельці, учні знаного гончаря. Справжнє свято душі ювіляра подарувала численна родина, що дружно зібралася віншувати очільника роду.
Щирі слова добрих побажань переповнювали кожного, хто брав вітальне слово. Та й природа теж, здавалося, не оминула нагоди поздоровити ювіляра. «Господь нині подарував нам рясний весняний дощик – ніби благословив Ваш ювілей, Ваші роки, Ваш сьогоднішній святковий день і наше сьогоднішнє дійство», – відзначила генеральний директор Національного музею-заповідника українського гончарства в Опішному Людмила Дяченко.
Творчість Миколи Пошивайла нині була пошанована відзнаками й подяками, а життєва скарбниця «творця глиняних див» поповнилася зиченням міцного здоров’я, творчої наснаги, кращих земних щедрот. «Нехай ще довго продовжує крутитися під Вашими руками щирий товариш – гончарний круг! Нехай народжуються нові мрії, що втіляться у живій опішненській глині!» – побажала Миколі Гавриловичу проректор із наукової роботи Полтавського національного педагогічного університету імені Володимира Короленка Любов Кравченко. Нехай же буде так, шановний ювіляре, ще на многії-многії літа!
