Мистецтвознавець, музеолог, стипендіат програми академічних обмінів імені Фулбрайта Дженніфер Кан (Техас, США), перебуваючи в Україні, відвідала Меморіальний музей-садибу гончарської родини Пошивайлів.
«Мрію разом з подругою написати книгу про Меморіальні музеї… ідеї, труднощі, можливості… – поділилася з нами Дженніфер. – Наші музеї відрізняються від ваших тим, що в них мало оригінальних речей, а у вас повністю збережено побут майстрів, це дуже захоплює. Тому обов’язково повернусь, щоб писати книгу…».

«Глина заспокоює, і ти думаєш, що ти здатний творити…», – зазначили студенти Харківської державної академії культури, відвідавши Меморіальний музей-садибу гончарської родини Пошивайлів.
«Цього року ми приїхали на практику в Опішню Полтавської області, як і наші попередні, можна сказати, колеги. Сьогодні ми відвідали Меморіальний музей-садибу гончарської родини Пошивайлів. У музеї вразило все: від будинку до експонатів, відчувається дух давнини. Вироби і мальовка неперевершені, не можна відвести очей. Найбільше нас вразили барині. Нам провели чудову екскурсію, розповіли про родину Пошивайлів, про створення цього музею, а ще нам провели чудовий майстер-клас з ліплення рибок-свистунців. Коли ти ліпиш, це дуже заспокоює, навіть гарні думки, і ти думаєш, що здатний творити. Дуже сподобалось, все цікаво, все неперевершено!».
